The music throbbed.
The lights flashed
The dance floor was heaving.
I scanned the room and then I saw him.
The most handsome man there.
Our eyes met only briefly but his radiant smile remained as I walked towards him.
I danced his dance.
We stimmed we rocked.
I squeaked with his squeaks.
He held my hand HE HELD MY HAND!!!
I felt we were the only two people there. Worries forgotten as we lived in the moment.

The evening was then cut short as Cs staff had to take him back (end of shift). But it was a magical night, Cs night club debut, one I will remember for a long time.

My wee girl's Asperger-autistic and it's often hard for me to know what's on her mind. I showed her my CV (she asked me what I'd been working on while we were at lunch in a burger place). She saw the stuff I've done and then she read my little bit in Finnish at the end (I'm not a native speaker of the language). And then she looked me in the eye and said: 'Dad, I'm very proud of you!'
I got choked up. I can relate a little to you experience with C, and I hope you get many more of these. It's often assumed that we autistics can't enjoy things like that, but we can!

fantastic I love it! Casdok I wanted to tell you my 6 year old has found his ears like C. He now walks around with his second finger in his ears. I have been following your blog now for so long and very familiar with C. I was amazed when my young one started to do this. Just thaught I would share :)
