But on the other hand - just think how many dust mites are on these cars!
42,000 Dust Mites can live in only one ounce of dust.
It is estimated that you breathe in 2 heaping teaspoons of air particles per day, including dust, much of which happens while you sleep on your mattress.
Dust Mites find their main food sources of food are human dead skin flakes.

Wow, I love those images. TFX
Ahh, i used to love writing WASH ME in moms and dads cars..
My son Patrick is EXTREMELY ALLERGIC to dust mites. He has special covers and we have ripped up every bit of carpet we can. We vacuum what's left all the time. We wash his sheets in hot water every week. He gets shots every week for his allergy.
But he isn't allergic to dirt, like what you'd find outside. It's the bedding and things inside that "bug" him. My husband's car might just qualify for this artistic treatment.
Yuk - dust mites :( My oldest son is very allergic to them, and we have to encase all his bedding in special plastic covers.
I never knew what they looked like though - maybe I will use TWO plastic covers now!
Horrible! The dust in this house is tremendous. Think I should seriously consider hiring a cleaner!
Those are so cool. Hmmmm...maybe I will put off washing my car and give that a shot.
Eeeww! Those dust mites look quite horrid. Think I'll be wearing a mask when I go to bed tonight as I don't fancy the thought of those little blighters invading my nasal passages any more than they obviously already have!
Yuck! Im so allergic to dust!! boys are too. Sneezing is so common in our house, we do not have a car at the moment.
Kinda sad that such great talent will be washed away as soon as the next rain shower . . .
Oh, great use of visuals here (as usual). Dust mites. Ugly little creatures, aren't they? My older son has asthma and is allergic to dust-mite "poo." Am suspecting my little one is allergic as well.
I wonder if that would work on furniture....
Those images are awesome...and disgusting LOL
the other day when I cleaned my room I think I may have inhaled a weeks worth of mites!
yucky!
A have psoriosis, so the whole bugs eating dead skin, and psoriosis being an excess of dead skin thing makes me want to gag. thanks a lot! ;)
Loved the artistic images, could have done without the mites. I'm fairly allergic to them myself, and will have that image stuck in my head every time I sneeze.
Joe
ewww...I was enjoying the art until the bugs came along. I should have read this before I ate breakfast :)
Hmmm - dust.
Pictures are great. I've got an excuse for not cleaning my car now.
The pic of dustmites looks like mocking aliens.
Gross....
Those are really neat. I love the Mona Lisa one...at least I think it's Mona Lisa
Dust mites bother me in all kinds of ways. Just...ewwwwww! *shiver*
Indeed! We have one of the cylinder votex hoover thingies - you can see the dust accumulate. They were all quite fascinated until I accidentally mentioned that they were all skin cells - I'll keep my mouth shut next time.
Cheers
wow those drawings in the dust are amazing.
and omg why did you tell me about the horrid dust mites, I am going to be sleeping with tape on my mouth and nose, yikes can't do that now can I!!!!!!!!!!
We have a special hoover that pounds the dust mites out of our mattresses... we have had it for over 2 years and I have never used it...no wonder Chopper and N3S need inhalers!
Wow! Those are so spectacular images..I never would have thought to turn my dirty car into art....and the dust mites....kinda icky :(
have seen them before, still nice
as for dust mites: pillows should be thrown out after 6 months, apparently 1/4 the weight by then is from their poop :(
Awesome art!
Really love the one with Mona Lisa.
Dust Mites, on one hand, are actually good for us... but, we shouldn't have too many of them, of course.
Nasty looking beasts they are!
I have GOT to have that Mona Lisa ic to show my students. See? A use for art history!!!
Ew! Ew! Ew! You could do that to my car, though.
I guess make sure you exfoliate
YUCK! is all I can think of to say. :(
Those dust mites look disgusting..now I'm thinking about what's under the bed and I don't want to go to sleep.
Ick
Cool artwork!
I'm supposedly allergic to dust mites. I bought the bed and pillow covers, expensive, but I still have the symptoms. As long as I can't see them, I am ok with them.
XOXO
I am having a pasrty today on my blog to celebrate my Asperger diagnosis. You and all of your freinds are invited.
mmmm, yummy... human dead skin flakes... I wonder if I can find that in the cereal isle right next to the bran flakes and corn flakes...
oh, wow..
and i'm so glad i just finished my lunch..
